What is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is a natural and highly effective process that utilizes the power of your subconscious mind to facilitate positive change, healing, and self-improvement. Contrary to popular belief, hypnosis is not about losing control or being put to sleep—it’s a deeply relaxed yet focused mental state where your mind becomes more receptive to suggestions, clarity, and transformation.
While many people associate hypnotherapy with breaking habits like smoking or supporting weight loss—and it is highly effective in those areas—it is also a powerful tool for a wide range of emotional and behavioral challenges. From reducing anxiety and managing stress to overcoming fears, building confidence, improving sleep, and processing grief, the applications of hypnotherapy are as vast as the mind itself.
Because it works directly with the subconscious—the part of the mind that stores beliefs, habits, and emotional responses—hypnotherapy bypasses conscious resistance and allows for real, lasting shifts. Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy
Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy are powerful tools that can treat a vast array of issues and conditions. As a Hypnotherapist, I work with an almost endless array of personal achievement goals. In some cases, a medical referral may be necessary for issues related to pain management and other medically related concerns. If you are already working with another counseling professional or have goals beyond personal self-improvement, I may request a referral from a qualified psychology professional.

Hypnotherapy Sessions
Private sessions are one-on-one sessions specifically designed for you and are offered in-person and via Zoom. Every session consists of talking, hypnosis, imagery, learning, goal setting, and more.
General Self-Improvement sessions are one hour. Specialty sessions, such as Smoking Cessation and Weight Loss, are 90-120 minutes long for the first session. (All session times are based on a 50-minute hour.)
